Evergreen perennial with numerous green and white spherical flowers in
bunches atop branching stems. Long thin pineapple-like leaves edged with evenly spaced soft thread-like spines. Sun. Ht: 3ft (1m) Sp: 18" (45cm)
Sowing Instructions
Cover thinly
with compost, grit, vermiculite or perlite. Keep moist and covered in a cold frame or unheated greenhouse. If germination does not occur after 3-4 weeks a cooling period of 2-4 weeks is recommended.
Best sown in: Late Jan/Feb
