Hardy perennial with rounded, deep blue flower-heads with blue-green spiky bracts, produced on tall stems throughout the summer months. Dark green, heart-shaped leaves. Sun.

Cover thinly with compost, grit, vermiculite or perlite. Keep moist and covered in a cold frame or unheated
greenhouse. If
germination does not occur after 3-4 weeks a cooling period of 2-4 weeks is recommended.
