Mizuna
A popular Japanese leafy vegetable which grows as a giant rosette of finely dissected, feathery leaves

Sow outside March - August

Sow seeds successionally every 2-3 weeks liberally sowing 0.5cm (0.25”) deep in rows 10cm (4”) apart.

Harvest from May - Novembe. Cut when 5-10cm (2-4") tall, leave to regrow for second cutting..

It can be harvested over a long season, at any stage, from small seedlings to large plants, a few leaves at a time. The flowering shoots are also edible.  This popular Japanese leaf can be used chopped in mixed salads, stir-fries and soups.
