An easy plant to grow, and a great addition to the vegetable garden
 - only six weeks from seed to harvest.

Sow outside in May

Sow seeds successionally every 2-3 weeks liberally sowing 0.5cm (0.25”) deep in rows 10cm (4”) apart.

Harvest from June - November

The whole plant is simply gathered in bunches when small and either used in salads or boiled and eaten as a vegetable. Raw, it makes a really good addition to salads, slightly salty and crunchy.
Rich in vitamins and minerals, including Vitamin A, calcium, and potassium.
